We have been a fan of Dutch illustrator Parra for a while now. His style is so bold, distinctive and eye catching that it is hard to avoid, with a signature colour pallet Parra sets about making everything he touches fresh and energetic. From all the interviews, pictures and articles i have seen involving this scruffy dude i get the feeling he is a creative who is still true to his original inspirations and passions. It is these simple pleasures like skateboarding and music that give his work that honest, clean and playful vibe. By sticking to what he knows he has worked with brands such as Vans, Stussy, Nike, Zoo York and VW to name a few. Parra has also now started up a street wear label called Rockwell check it out as well as more of his typographic and illustrative offerings over at http://www.rockwellclothing.com/ . Keep an eye on this guy as he is always producing new and exciting projects.
